CHRISTMAS 2008 PHOTOS
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Here's a few pictures from mine. We opened, used, and even modeled our gifts. We enjoyed a long visit and lunch with our friend, B. And, we entertained ourselves with the pooping moose and penguin!
In this blog you will read about my travels, meals, discoveries and adventures. The opinions and recommendations are completely my own; I am not sponsored by any person or business.
I simply love to dine, shop, and travel and share my discoveries with others.
Please enjoy reading the Where-To-Guide blog and share it with your friends and colleagues.
I've started this blog to provide an informal place to share my restaurant, shopping and travel discoveries. My main focus is on the San Francisco Bay Area, but, when I travel out of the area, I report on these places as well.
From 1982 until the end of 2008, I published Beverly Dubrin's Where-To-Guide, a private newsletter about dining, shopping, and travel.
I also do freelance writing on similar subjects and have authored newspaper, magazine, and web articles as well as portions of San Francisco Bay Area guide books.
My newest accomplishment is TEA CULTURE, a beautifully illustrated 144-page book about Tea in modern day society. It is packed with all kinds of information and stories about tea, its history, the different kinds of tea, and lots and lots of recipes for tea drinks and foods to enjoy with tea. TEA CULTURE is sold at bookstores and online book sellers throughout the English-speaking world.
